Always Smile for Genesis 3 Female(s) problem with poses

Recently one of the limited time freebies is https://www.daz3d.com/always-smile-for-genesis-3-female-s and gives me a huge problem, the smile and laugh poses don't open the mouth and this causes the lips deformation, opening the mouth manually with the base slider don't solve this problem because the deformation becomes even worse.

I didn't have them, but I bought them (as free) and they seem to be working for me. Some of the expressions are a little odd, but G3F does open her mouth on a number of expressions.

Which character are you using them on?

And maybe try to post a picture of what you are seeing.

I tried with the base Genesis 3 without any morphs or modifications as you can see the bottom lip lowers but the teeth remain in place causing distortion, months ago I purchased Grimaces for G3F ad always wors properly, luckily this one was free so i didn't waste my money.

  • After searching the internet for a possible solution I gave up on this product luckily it was free but honestly I can't suggest anyone to buy this since this bug can happen.

I, too, just installed this free aquisition, and tried to use it. I see why it was free. The expressions move the lips and face, but do not touch the mouth's inner parts, which are normally hidden by the lips and actually cause them to move when using other poses or expressions. Any of these expressions that expose the teeth show that the inner mouth (behind the lips) does not move at all.

Use the geometry editor to hide the lips surface and you will see how the inner mouth moves with any other expression set. With these expressions, no movement at all.

Examining the files shows that the formulas are manipulating the node rigging directly (all of them, not just the mouth), and are not using the transforms (translate, rotate), like every other expression I looked at.
