Can overwrite morph ERC just about some nodes? (mix morph with keep erc too)
Hi,, I feel there seems no way,, then plan to request daz, but if I mss something then ask here.
1. I made new face morph for gen3F. then "adjust rigging to shape" , > re-adjust many node manually.
then set ERC freeze, save erc with the morph. FHM_base1.
2 I hope to tweak around eye of FHM_base1.
but I do not hope to add new delta moprh, then use with FHM_base1 .
I plan to overwrte "FHM_base1" with new ERC rigs position.
but I do not hope to adjust all face rig again,,,.
3 I already make new morph shape = newFHM_base1 from FHMbase1.
then I can overwrite it by morphloader keep all ERC for each rig postion.
(node transform , orientation X Y Z of base rig as zero poze)
But this time,, I need to re-adjust facial rigs around eye only.
hope to keep other ERC of each node.
what is best way to change rigs around eye only, then save it as new face morph keep all ERC (only tweaked node erc will change)?

I tested with some case.
I set only eye around nodes (with both eye) as "adjust rigging to shape" work with check option.
then ,adjust some nodes to keep clean.
but I need to set ERC with the morph.
then I use ERC freeze,, with check on all three option (resotre figure, resotre figure rigging,,)
it seems only remain ERC about modified nodes. (eye around node movement)
seems lost all ERC of other nodes of current morph.
then next I check off "resotre figure rigging". then ERC freeze.
when I check bone ghosting,, it seems work well.
But after I save the morph , then next open the figure with morph,
even though I can see bone move with morph,
the rotation pivot keep defualt zero morph genesis.
that means,, if I rotate eye,, the eye roate not current pivot. but default genesis3female pivot.
then it perfect break my Actor shape.

And I want to ask how to duplicate morph with different name keep all ERC
I change morph name and labell only (to keep original) in parameter setting. (eg moprh1 to morph2)
then save it as new morph,,
now in my data, there is two morph files with different name. it seems OK.
but everytime I must find duplicate formula erroer, when I next load Actor with morphs.
I know,, the new saved moprh (with changed morph name and labell) seems keep morph1 ID or path etc.
I could tweak and modify it in text editor, or JSON tool,, but why there seems no way,
simply duplicate morph with different name, without lost anything?
I know, if DAZ care about easy copy product,, but as for me,, it is just for re-modify my customized morph.
why there is no way to duplicate morph, without erroer? :roll:

Find the controller in the Property Hierarchy (right-click on it in the parameters pane in Edit mode), then right-click on it and select ERC Bake - that will unfreeze the links, so you can then adjust them and refreeze them with the new settings for the eye.

I have never noticed the erc bake of proeprty hielarchy pane ,,
now I udnerstand the ERC bake option meaning too!!
I no more need to worry,, when I tweak morph with ERC freezed rigs,,
Then I want to confirm,,
the ERC bake may only work about rig (center and endpoint,, and orientation) ?
or if it work about all subcomponent moprh, and each node poze too?
And,,,, do you know way to re-name and save keep ERC without duplicate formula too??
I know,,, if I need buck up,, simply copy with different file name,,
but I often hope to duplicate morph with ERC for future tuweaking,,with compare original.
ERC Bake should affect all ERC links.
I think it is possible to copy a property, including ERC links, but I'm not absolutely certain and i can't recall how.
mm,, now I feel,,, If I can easy mix
two or three morph with ERC, without "adjust rigs fo current shape" again,
and breaking ERC? ( though I may need to think more about jcms mcms how work ,,if they linked ,,)
eg I have two morph with different ERC rig (zero poze)
then I set morphA 0.7 + morphB 0.5 with zero poze.
rig move by two morph ERC
I like the current shape,, and feel the rig is OK,,
then hope to gather them as one morph, keep ERC rig postion.
before,
I may plan to make another controllerC,
then set two morph as subcomponent of controllerC with adjusting step value etc.,then achieve same shape and rig.
but Now I may simply bake ERC, for morphA and morphB, it may keep current rig postion ,then release ERC.
and I return morphA and morphB value to zero,
but rig still keep current postion and orientation. (it is not default genesis3female rig)
I export current shape, (morphA 0.7 morphB 0.3) then import it as new morphC.
next ERC freeze for morphC ,, to set current rig position as sub components,,,
it give me new morph with ERC rig correctly? :-)

then about duplicate moprh as different name keep ERC, it worked before I think (do not remember clear though,,
sometimes I find duplicate formula, when I change name and save as new morph I think,,)
but about ds 4.8. it must cause duplicate formula
when I change name and labell morhp and save it as new moprh. with ERC.
though I did not test if I change path too,, if it work,,
and I know there are Property cloner,, but it not make same morph for root node I think.
it can make alias or new controller,, for child node,, I feel,
if there is another way to simply duplicate new property with different name, keep ERC?

and I feel it seems good chance to ask about all edit mode option,,
in edit mode , there are many option to tweak properties,, then I have one option which I could not understand still,,
what property converter means? and how it work for which purpose?
maybe someone hope to know it as same as me,, I feel, :red:
