Anatomical Elements of male characters

I bought my first male character for Daz3d, I can't find where and how to put his anatomical (genital) part. My question is: Is that hidden in some place? Do I need to buy a separate accessory? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks. By the way, the character I bought is Torment 8.1.

Don't have that character but the description indicates that it should be included. I'd try looking in Anatomy/External - I imagine that's where it would be.

The anitomical elements are only provided in the Pro bundles of that generation. If you did buy a pro bundle then they will be in your library. I can't think of the exact location atm and can't check cause I'm doing an update and can't open DS at this time.

  • As well as the Pro bundles some of the Name 8.1 themed bundles include the Anatomical Elements.

Did you buy either https://www.daz3d.com/torment-8-1-hell-on-wheels-bundle or https://www.daz3d.com/torment-8-1-temptations-bundle? If not, then while you will have the textures for the anatomical elements, you won't have anything to attach them to. For the 8.1 name-and-number characters (Torment, Michael, Fred, etc.) you have to buy one of the bundles to get the anatomical elements figure itself.

If you have them, this link should take you to the right place in your Product Library: Genesis 8 Male Anatomical Elements

Unfortunately, I don't use Smart Content, so I don't know how you would locate them in there. In the Content Library -- the file directory, more or less -- they would be under /People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy. (Genesis 8 and 8.1 use the same male anatomical elements figures.)

Richard Haseltine. I had no idea about it, I thought it was included in any male character. I bought Torment + Torment HD, if I had this information I could have read it through the bundles. Now how do I?

Did you buy any pro figure within the Genesis 8 and 8.1 line or the couple products within the 8.1 classification that included them? If so then you will have them. I believe the location vwrangler posted is correct

You can ask a refund of the assets if you want to buy the bundle to get the anatomical elements. And there are also third party assets that are cheaper than a bundle.

  • If you want Torment 8.1 and have the budget both bundle include the anatomical elements

alainmerigot I find this very annoying, I have to buy a package of a lot of things I'm not going to use to have an anatomical part. I like to buy things separately because I also like to make my clothes and shoes, so I just buy the character and the hair, nothing else. I'm not complaining about anything, just that this information should be clearer at the time of purchase.

It has annoyed customers for years and this forum reflects your complaints often but, like most things that cause customers to complain, nothing changes and those customers are completely ignored. My advice is for you to ignore the DAZ demands to buy the bundle and to opt for a 3rd Party product. I, and many others, use the Meipe geograft from R*otica and find it meets the requirements better than the native DAZ product.

You could buy a pro bundle of another character (G8 or G8.1).. the anatomical parts are always the same (only materials/textures change.. mesh is always the same)

    Hello there,

(I initially posted a plea for assistance, but have since figured out where I needed to go. This is an edit to that post. In case it still shows, just ignore the attached screenshot.)

Thank you to all who have contributed to this post. I had some trouble finding the files until I realized that I needed to go under My DAX 3D Library/People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy. I am unfamiliar with Content Library and first tried looking under Daz Connect. (I added the entire path for anyone else who is totally and painfully unfamiliar with Content Library like me. Thank you, vwrangler, for the initial path! You are tops! :) )

Dryke, I feel your pain! I only just happened to purchase a pro bundle because everything in it, I wanted and, because it was on sale. Otherwise, like you, I normally purchase items separately. (I hate getting extra stuff that I do not need or want.)

Again, thanks to everyone for your contributions to this post. All the information shared was helpful and I finally found what I needed!  :)

    Hello there,

Thank you to all who have contributed to this post. I was hoping it would help me since I purchased the Elios 8 Pro Bundle in May of 2020. (I do not know if the timing matters, but I thought I would include it just in case). I looked in the Content Library for the "/People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy" path. What I found was, "/People/Genesis 8 Male/Characters" and under that, only one character shows and it is not Elios. If it matters, the character showing is Felix, for whom I did not purchase the pro bundle. (From what I understand, I should only have needed to purchase a single pro bundle anyway.) Unfortunately, "Anatomy" is nowhere to be seen. :( Any suggestions for me? (I posted a screenshot of my Content Library.)

Anatomical elements is part of the bundle. Look in the product description https://www.daz3d.com/elios-8-pro-bundle

as they are mentioned there. The anatomical elements are generic across all all the same generation, e.g. G8M. But only some comes with corresponding textures.

When you install, it is a seperate installation.

They should default be under Genesis 8 male > Anatomy.

But I can't see an Anatomy folder in your SS. But neither I can see a Clothing folder.

    How are you installing?

Edit to add: If you go to your Product Library and find the bundle, there should be a specific product mentioned: Anatomical Elements.

Thanks so much for such a quick response, Felis! It is most appreciated! :) I tried to make my edit on time to save you and others from spending time figuratively holding my hand, but you beat me to it. I am good to go now. :)
