Horse 2 tail options

I've recently purchased the Horse 2 model - really quite dissapointed with the included (lack of) mane and tail options. I did dmanage to find IMO a far better (and free - thank you!!) mane choice by LFG here (https://ladyfyre-graphics.com/making-a-new-mane-for-the-daz-horse-2/) but so far coming up blank on decent tail options aside from the DA dForce version available in the Daz shop (https://www.daz3d.com/da-dforce-mane-and-tail-for-horse-2) which tbh isn't really what I'm after, I'm more interested in plaited show style styles if that makes sense - does anyone knwo of any other options that may exist out there - really struggling to find anything....

Sadly, braided styles don't exist for mane or tail. There are some pre-painted mane/tail graphics available on Rendo that you might be able to blend in via postwork...they were made as a companion to the HiveWire Horse, but there's no reason you couldn't blend them with a DH2. It just takes a lot of work in a program like Photoshop and even then you need to make sure you render with that in mind so the lighting isn't completely off. 

Horse models for Daz are severely lacking. 

If massive amounts of post aren't your thing, you might have better luck with the HiveWire Horse...the mane and tail options are the best overall in terms of coat/color accuracy, and you can do a lot more with them for posing. I like the dForce mane available for DH2 (I have it), but it doesn't really work for what I've needed in the past either. Overall between the two horses (I have pretty much every model and coat color available for both), I'm happier with the HiveWire Horse.

Hey thanks for the reply - dissapointing but tbh was beginning to get the feeling that was the case - yes I saw the hivewire horse may be something closer to what I'm after there...
