Parts of clothes colliding oddly when g2f kneels

So, I am using a pose that puts a female character kneeling on the ground with her knees bent such that her thigh and calf are touching. She's wearing pantyhose, and the tops of the pantyhose (where it should only worry about colliding with her thighs) is jumping to wrap around the calf as well.
Is there a way to prevent this without messing up the fit that works so well otherwise? I can "unbend" her shin and it fixes it, but that ruins the pose :(

Can you tell us which product and figure and in what version of DS, please?
So, the product I initially noticed it on isn't sold at DAZ, and while poking around, I found it didn't happen with some items, so I guess it can be fixed at the product level. However, I was able to quickly find an example of a DAZ item that did exhibit this behavior: http://www.daz3d.com/super-dress-and-leggings-for-genesis-2-female-s
The figure is a mix of Callie and some body morphs (size & voluptuous) to give her legs more curve. Studio 4.8.0.59. I rendered a picture showing what I am seeing, but I don't know how to attach pictures here. in the render, I used a canned pose with her hand on her hip (the fingers were digging slightly into her hip due to the thicker body shape than the pose was designed for) and I bent her left shin to 148.6. The end result is a hole around the finger tip (That's obvious how to fix) and then the area around the lower middle of the thigh has jumped to around her shin. I suspect the part that is jumping is where the tights have a new zone for one of the trims.
this is a bit of an extreme case, but if there is a way to fix the products myself (or to set up collisions to still fit nicely where they should) I'm more than happy to make the changes. This is an older product so it definitely wouldn't have callie morphs in it...but, it works just fine aside from this as far as I can tell.
Hi,, to attach pic, you have attachment section, when you reply, just click button, and upload your screen shot
or render image from your PC.
It may help lot to reply what can do to remove your problem.(and what is easy for your case)
I feel if you already apply smooth modifier? if so, at first, you may check smooth modifier OFF,
and see which mesh parts cause problem.
Then I think,,, it is not so special case. Because even though clothing rigged well, clothing mesh
should bend with Actor bone when it fit to Actor.
not auto circulate how colide with keep good distance from body. or not auto simulate as physics.
If you use long dress then she sit with many poze, we must need modify.
Without the clothing offered with morphs for all poze and all shape which user plan, after all,
we may need to modify mesh by original morphs or, try to adjust modifiers , or hide some body part etc.
Or you may need to change the some bone name of clothing , then the bone can move manually as ghost bone,
not defromed by actor bone. but I hope to see pic. what happen about your case.
I was using "Fast Reply" which doesn't offer attachments (maybe that slows you down? ;)
Thanks for the tip, kitakoredaz
Hi, that looks like a collision problem have you tried lowering collision to zero under the mesh smoothing section in the parameters tab?
Hi,, I am not smoothing modifier master,, but can offer some substitute.
1. You may try bake smoothing modifier with zero pose first, then use it as moprh.
after that it not circulate and try to collision item .
though it may not work perfect, when you pozing, but it can reduce poke through.
2 try to adjust smoothing modifier hidden property as pendaria suggested already,,
though,,, I can not manage it well .
(I feel pendaria know smoothing modifier well :)
3 OFF smoothing modifier, but use push modifier then color push modifier weight which I need only apply.
, or simply use moprh which included in the product.
most pantyhorse should include expand all etc. then adjust thickness without collision.
in my pic I use most simple way^^; use expand all. then OFF smoothing modifier.
but I will need to adjust the shoes too.
4 it is more tricky,,
but I sometimes plan to make bodysuit which cut somearea from exported geometry shell.
or use product and modify it.
then cut some mesh by 3d modelor or geometry tool,
where I do not hope to apply smooth modifier.
eg about your case, I may cut under the knee part poligons.
and set the bodysuti as hidden. or full opacity.
(it is unvisible body suit , which cover actor body part, but only for use
smoothing modifier collision target)
apply smoothing modifier for the panty horse, but set collision item " as " invisible bodysuit"
then smoothing modifier only count over the knee . I believe it should work.
though I do not plan to make it at current ^^
