Fast Extrude

I'm sure this is simple,....but I can't figure it out. What key do you have to hit or what do you have to do to drop the first extrude so you can do the next extrude. I read the manual, but it seems to over look that detail or I am overlooking it.

    Never mind. I figured it out. You don't have to hit anything. You just stop...let up on the mouse... and then start again. I guess I was trying to use it like the sweep tool.
