How do I get DIM to accept that I changed the DAZ Studio content path to not be my C: drive?

I want to install DAZ Studio content files on my N: drive.  DAZ Studio believes that I have changed the path to be on that drive for both , but DIM stubbornly insists that it should be in C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library.  (As shown in Basic Settings // "Content Base Path".)  The Content Directory Manager in DAZ Studio shows that "DAZ Studio Formats" is set to have one path to the place I want it to be and none to the wrong place, and so does "Poser Formats".

What do I have to do to get DIM to pick up the changes?

Use the Advanced Settings -> Installation to create a new Content Path (+ sign in bottom left corner, new path will appear in the bottom part), then set the Content Path Shortcut you want to use from the drop-down list just above.

  • Huh, OK, thanks.  I gotta say that this particular bit of interface is a bit opaque.  (In the end, I found where the setting is actually stored, in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts\Account.ini but with forward slashes instead of backslashes...)

    Problem solved.  Thanks again.
