Mousso characters - expressions dont seem to work

I bought a couple of Mousso's characters and none of my expressions seem to work on them.  The lips/mouth never move.  Am I missing something?

    Are they G8 characters used on G8.1 base? Because if yes then G8 expressions won't work on G8.1 female base. Reverse can be true too.

    On some characters, the morphs work well.  On others, not so well.

    Which characters?  Are you using G8 or G8.1?  Which morphs?

    On some characters, the morphs work well.  On others, not so well.

    Which characters?  Are you using G8 or G8.1?  Which morphs? 

    MSO Mina HD for Genesis 8.1 Female | Daz 3D

    Rachelle Vamp HD for Genesis 3 & 8 Female | Daz 3D

    Chanel HD for Genesis 8 Female | Daz 3D

    Ginny HD for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female | Daz 3D

    Are you aware that default does expressions not work on Genesis 8.1, as they are made for FACS.

    So in order to use "normal" expressions on G8.1 you have to use a fix.

    Although what you are mentioning is both G8 and G8.1, and are you sure it is on both expressions are not working?

    I'm wondering if not pairing up 8.1 character with 8.1 expressions correctly.  I think most of my expressions are 8.0.  I'll need to try again later and see what happens.

    I can't recall if Ginny HD was coming with expressions for both G 8 and G 8.1 versions, or only for G 8.1.

    But all Mousso expressions work fine or G 8.1 base. They are accessible from the properties tab.

    Making the G8 base expressions (and any expressions that are using them) work on G8.1 requires removing dummy/placeholder expressions that are installed to G8.1 morph folders - These dummy/placeholder expression files have no other function than to prevent the base G8 expressions from loading. 

    The dummy/placeholder files are located in;

    ...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
    ...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
    ...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
    ...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)

    Please make sure you are removing the files from G8.1 morph folders and not G8 morph folders.

    Note 1; If you are logging in to DS and letting DAZ Connect (within DS) to install/update your content, you may have these also in an other location that has "\Data\Cloud\" in it's path
    Note 2; Do not remove any files from "FACS" or "FACSExpressions" folders

    Yes, Ginny had them.  I think I need to adjust how I have things organized in file tree.  Also, I downloaded an 8.1 expression pack and they all seem to work with the 8.1 figures.  I just need to be mindful of what version I'm working with.
