DS Cadichon - yay, donkey! But requirements?

Ooh lovely, a donkey figure for DAZ horse is out: https://www.daz3d.com/ds-cadichon-for-daz-horse-2

I'm kind of confused though, because it says that the Horse Pro Bundle is required. Cannot see why, maybe @Deepsea could clear this up?

    Yeah, some clarification would be nice. I guesstimate (!) that it might because of the saddle using whatever from the Pro Pack.

    Some content for the Horse 2 is only available in the pro bundle, including a donkey morph.

    It's still possible that it's a mistake. I don't know how much the new morph relies on the pro bundle content. It might be an entirely new and independent morph.

    I'm with you on the possible mistake idea.
    If you own Daz Horse 2 and then look at the Pro bundle, the horse does not show as an already purchased item

    Love the donkey but pro-bundle a killer for me too. Kinda poor sales strategy having such an expensive requirement.

    bummer that is for sure. I would have purchased otherwise but Pro bundle horse 2 puts it off.

    This is the perfect companion product for the dFlatable Donkey!

    The all time best DAZ gift ever.

    The expressiveness of its piercing stare alone (haunting almost) mark it as a significant and historic piece of content history.

    The dFlatable Donkey, that is... Deepsea's Cadichon is epic and wonderful in its own right and a much needed product, but the eyes are far more sexy than the dFlatable Donkey's which makes Cadichon more suited for regular renders or Donkey Pinups.

    Is the donkey absolutely necessary? It looks like it will fit the regular horse as well.

    I can either use it on a horse exclusively or I'm sure I can create a mule morph myself. I already have textures that would do for an army mule I think.

    I think ashyemmett has a free mule morph for the Daz Horse 2 available at sharecg.

    It's a shame the Cadichon requires the Horse 2 pro bundle version as I need donkeys and mules for my book project. I have the Millennium horse with its mule and donkey morphs, but they look flat without dforce or lamh manes, tails and body fur. Oh, well...

    I have all the items in the bundle but I am not buying the bundle just to get the morph so I can use this.

    DAZ might have one of those bundle sales again where you only pay for missing items if you are fortunate

    One of the reasons to have picked up bundles for free when DAZ has one of those "Puchase the bundle for just the price of items not owned" sales

    Unfortunately I do not at this time own the Pro Bundle, I have wishlisted it for a good sale in the future hopefully.  I went ahead and purchased because with the discounts I got a pretty decent deal.

    Thanks for clarifying, @Deepsea, and @Daventaki for the render without the morph! Yeah, a bummer in my view, too. I will wishlist the donkey and the Pro Bundle for now. @Deepsea, maybe you could somehow contrive to make a version which does not rely on the bundle? Would really love to buy that!

    Oh blast, I'll still buy the donkey I guess. I really do love Deepsea's stuff, and I want to support them. Also want to show my appreciation for making animals when everybody else seems to be making cute girls and dolly clothes. Soooo ... I'll bite the bullet and see what to do about the missing morph from the Pro Bundle. Really do wish though this could have been done differently.

    well then you will get it for free if they have one of those sales again

    I got a few free previous ones where I owned all the bits

    It's like the gens in the pro bundles - you can't buy them seperately...
