Where is my product?

I bought the Scissor Lift product. When I installed it, I could not access it (see attached image).

Yes, it is. If you have it correctly installed it shows up as a character there.

  • I did find it in the Poser library under a wierd category -- Mairy 3D Dream, but, as you can see from the attached image, it unavailble. I

    How did you install it?

  • I tried to install it from the Content Library by double clicking the greyed out item. Then I tried using DAZ Central. Neither worked. I tried installing another product from the Content Library and installed fine.

Just installed it via DIM. No problems at all.

You need to choose one installation method, if you choose to install stuff inside DS (With DAZ Connect), there is no point to use the other installation methods as DAZ Connect installed stuff overrides stuff installed by the other methods, even when the DAZ Connect installed stuff doesn't work.

That product is a Poser product and it is quite possible that it doesn't like being installed into a location it was not meant to be in (DAZ Connect uses a non traditional location for the installations)

Uninstall the product within DS, uninstall it with all the other methods you have installed it with and use DIM to install it again.

If you want to prevent similar problems in the future, stop logging in to DS and set your startup options as in the attachment

Some products (particularly old Poser products in my experience) can be messed up if installed twice using both Connect/Smart Content and DIM.

It looks like it failed to decrypt, hence the broken thumbnails.
