Lali's Spandex and Iray canvases

Hi if anyone can help me. This awesome product in not working with canvases. See attachments for what I mean but:

Pic 1 - Load spandex dress (or bodysuit) to G8F

Pic 2 - Render to Iray (looks great)

I need to use canvases though because of animation purposes.

Pic 3 - Review settings (looks good to me) click render

Pic 4 - Where'd the dress go?

Any idea why this happens?

I just tested this with different clothing and it doesn't happen (i.e. works as expected).

For that particular dress however it disappears no matter what I did and I tried everything I could think of:

 - removing zipper parts
 - Adding all dress child nodes to node list
 - deleting unused face and geometry groups
 - resetting all surfaces to default plastic shader
 - setting default UVs
 - trying other render pass types (diffuse, specular, etc)

As long as you are using node list, regardless of whether it is checked or not, it turns invisible. Tested in 4.16.0.3 release and 4.16.1.58 beta.

Thank you for taking the time to check this for me. Yeah I'm stumped too even though I didn't try the other things you did. Thanks for being more thorough.

No problem, just file a support ticket to Daz and let them sort it out with the vendor.
