Creases of a Dforce clothing

When we create a Dforce clothing, should we add the creases of the fabric, or we let Dforce do it through the simulation.
But can Dforce do that?

For example the cloth arm. Should we model it just straight stiff, or do we add the creases, like after we made and simulate the cloth on Marvelous Designer.

It seems in simulation, it tries to keep the shape of the geometry. So if we add creases, there will be unatural creases, in certain pose.

With enough geometry you'll be good, especially if it's good geometry. :)

Very fine creates, I'd go with normal maps or perhaps displacement.

  • Creases added using normals and displacement do not look realistic on dForce clothing because gravity tends to straighten the clothing out and having fake creases does not allow that.

In my opinion they should not be added unless they are on a part of the clothing which has been made rigid or which has been excluded from the simulation alltogether.
