strange problem with loading up G8.1F characters

So I load the default G8.F person first then add the character to it but for some reason it does not change at all except I get this strange change: (in pic) pls help me find out why and correct it. Thx.

    Look under Currently Used in the parameters tab to see if something else got dialed in.

    Please put the Viewport in Smooth Shaded drwawstyle if you need to show a nude figure.

    from the picture shown at first and now no longer attached it looked (!) that it was about a character sold at Renderosity which seemed to be applied with the figures' dials set to an value above 100% when loaded.
