Changing figure height

I was wonder, what is the best way to change any character height without disturbing clothes? Sometimes when I use slider height clothes on the character won't fit properly, they fitting too high or too low

Scale can work for smallish amounts, sometimes coupled with scaling the head up to compensate.

Leg length and Torso Length; my understanding is that most of the height difference is due to leg length, in most cases.

Growing Up morphs up to about 11% are good too; there's a Young Face (there or elsewhere) morph that can remove (if used in the negative) any slight changes to make the face younger.

Most important thing is that they look how you want them to, not that they are anatomically correct - although depends exactly what you're after. Still, most important is you like how they look.

Are these clothes from a store like Daz or Renderosity or from somewhere else?  It sounds like they're not rigged properly if they're not conforming.

Here are some of my notes on character height. I do scale figures (Vicky 5'-6" = scaled to 93%), but it must be less then 10%. If it's going to be more 10% I start shorting the torso and limbs.

Great chart... and it should mentioned that most of the female figures for the Genesis Generations tend to be on the "a good bit too big" side, with most of them being at 6 feet / 1.80m, so getting them down to about 93% still results in "normal" proportions usually.
