Texture Map equivalents

I have gotten texture maps from other sources, which is nice. But their texture map names don’t always correspond with the DAZ Surface names. I know some don’t have an equivalent.

I put a couple of guesses in the list, but they may be wrong. Could someone please match them up for me?

Albedo =  ? Base Color

Cavity =

Gloss =

Normal Map = Normal Map

Normal bump =

Bump =

Height =

AO =

Metalness = ? Metalicity

Diffuse =

Roughness =

Specular =

Fuzz =

Translucency =

Opacity = ? Cut out Opacity

Brush =

Mask =

Transmission =

Thanks for your help

  • Albedo = Base = Diffuse

    Opacity = Cut out opacity

  • A lot of the maps can be used in multiple channels depending on what type of effect you want to create. On the uber shader, you can add them on the following channels:

    • Albedo/Diffuse =  Base Color
    • Cavity =
    • Gloss/Roughness =  Glossy Layered Weight or Glossy Reflectivity, Dual Lobe Specular Reflectivity
    • Normal Map = Normal Map
    • Bump = Bump Map, you can also use Height/Displacement Maps here
    • Height = Displacement Strenght
    • AO = You can apply this to the Albedo Map and blend it (if you want some baked shadows)
    • Metalness = Metalicity, Metallic Flakes Weight
    • Roughness/Specular = Glossy Reflectivity, Dual Lobe Specular Reflectivity
    • Translucency = Translucency Color
    • Opacity = Cutout Opacity
    • Mask = Cutout Opacity, though it would really depend on what type it is.
    • Transmission = Transmitted Color

    Thank you Catherine and FenixPhoenix. That is exactly what I needed!
