Ben and Lyn for Genesis 8.1

Love these characters! I'm always happy to see twin sets! :)

I think they're a cute pair, too! The textures seem a little less detailed though, don't they? Or is the lighting just too high-key in the promos? Has anybody bought them and can show a more realistic render, maybe close up?

Cinnabar's textures don't tend to have a lot of detail.  What you see in the promos is mostly what you get.  I suppose you could add some texture with one of Handspan's Skin Detail Resources?

Thanks for both info and suggestion, will have a look at the skin details product!

  • Here's a pretty neutral light / background / pose for both. For skin details, well.. bluejaunte exists laugh

Thank you! They are kind of scary with that 100 mile stare, ain't they? - Hm, skin really isn't much, and I usually don't buy to swap out major parts of the product immediately. But the morph is still kind of sweet, and one doesn't get many sibling characters usually, especially younger ones. Maybe I can fix them up with Porefectionist and the Skin Details Sevrin mentioned. Still on the fence ...

I think the idea is that they are meant to be stylized characters, kind of a 3D anime thing. Seen in that light, the skin seems perfect.

Of course, that's a matter of style and preference, but yeah, at this point we all have about a thousand skins to pick from--and isn't that a terrifying sentence to pull out of context.

Sure is, like when people say: 'Don't like her much, but I think I can use her skin ...' devil

Once I was trying to debug a website while I was out somewhere, and I theorized that an errant <body> tag was the cause of my troubles, so I said, out loud, in public, "do I just get rid of the body?".
