Q: remote server for 3d development

I would like to have a remote server for development of daz/blender scripts... with a working viewport... rendering not required.

But have a viewport and github, and to connect remotely.

Is such possible?

caveat: I'm not tech support, just someone answering a question in a forum.

    key phrase: "rendering not required"

I've used M$ Azure to create remote server and client machines.  If I were approaching this problem for myself: I would get an azure account, spin up a client (windows 10 or 11) machine, install M$ remote desktop on my local machine, configure remote desktop, and install Daz plus your other software on the remote machine.  Access would be through the remote desktopa pplication and the display from the remote machines would be in a window or full screen (your option) and depending on internet speed, there may be some lag.  Running a remote client will cost you money, typically billed monthly.

So, technically it's possible.. It might be useable, if the lag is low enough.. who knows.  Let us know if you give it a try.
