A question for kibarreto

EtriganEtrigan Posts: 603

First, I love your products. I have all your space ships and many other items. My question is this, your Vanguard promo images show the cargo container detached from the ship.

How do I do this in DS? The container is a bone in DS not a prop I can separate, nor can I load containers separately (they're not a prop).

Please advise?

Thanks!

If you don't get any other answer, you can hide the container. In Poser, you would do this in the Hierarchy window. Not sure how to do it in studio.

To get just the container, you can export it as a prop. Again, I can tellyou how to do this in poser, but not in studio.

Thanks pwiecek, I knew about hiding the container, but moreso, I wanted to have extra containers to add to scenes.

Thanks JaguarElla. I am disappointed that I didn't miss something. Functionality presented in.promo images should be repeatable by the purchaser.

Well, with all due respect, it is repeatable by the purchasers, and there are fairly easy ways to do it. For example, load Vanguard, Expand the view to show all of the parts, Hide them all, then unhide the Vanguard and the Container. Once you've done that, you can select Vanguard and Create Instances. The whole process takes less than a minute on most machines, and using Instances work very quickly with relatively low overhead (click image for larger view).
