LF Tuts to fix hair cap poke through on products that do not include adj morphs

I'm looking for any tutorials that address fixing hair products that do not fit properly (specificaly hair cap poke through), and that do not have fit adjustment morphs included in the product. A prime example follows.

Products used in this example:

I have quite a few hair products in my collection that present me with the same problem. I would love to use these products. Without a fix though, they are shoved aside with disapointment and lament for the money that was spent on them.

Generally, what i do is just adjust the scale of the hair by half a percent or create a geoshell, parent the hair to that and ofset the geoshell by a tiny amount.  The issue is caused partly by the diffeences in head shapes and sizes of various characters.

It's true.  Tallia hair fits badly on Dominique.  This PA is one of my least favourite hair makers.  I was too late to refund the hair once I noticed this problem.

Anyway, what you can do, is rather than fit the hair to Dominique, apply a different hair that does have decent adjustment morphs, and then fit the Tallia hair to that.  I got this result using the base of OOT's Mega Updo hair.

Perhaps @Mousso could let us in on what method she used to fit this hair.
