Animation Lip Sync Workflow?

I'm attempting an animated short and now facing the challenge of animating a character to match recorded dialogue. I have played with Mimic in the 32 bit version of Daz Studio, but wonder if there is an alternative. Another thread mentioned that Animate2 can import audio as a block. From there I assume the process is hand animating phonemes? Is there a practical workflow to handle dialogue?

I always animate lips by hand. Here is my latest animation, unfortunately without sound. The character is singing the words, "I dreamed a dream in time gone by".

As for the addons I have no idea. Never used anything like that.

I´d love to see your animation once its done!

So you import a sound file to animate2 and then hand-adjust the visimes on the character?

there is a lipsync tab iin the 32 bit, imports a wav file and matches visemes for you after choosing the dmc configuration file for the figure, you can save the animated pose to use in the 64 bit

Thanks. That's probably the best option. Is there a way to edit the animation in the 64 bit? I see keyframes in timeline, but not in Keymate.
