[Does anyone know if the Train Locomotive in Polish "Western Express Train Locomotive" is rigged?] Or is it a static prop?

  • Have not purchased it yet, but from the pictures it does not look like the piston and the side rod are actually connected ... so, even if the wheels turn, things will not be exactly like a real train ... (this train does have slight fantasy proportions to it anyway).

  • It's a static prop.

  • There are one or two little problems with the loco. It would have been a very useful thing to get a mechanically competent person to have a 10 second glance at it to identify the most glaring mechanical inconsistencies. Fantasy or not, if fantasy physics works similarly enough for a boiler to work, then the drive train and valve gear will also need to work in a similar way. Couldn't quite believe my eyes when I saw the model. Regards, Richard.
