Problems with the categories in the version 4.8

I have created some categories personalized in the preceding versions. (DAZ 4.5)
subsequently I have installed other products and I have inserted them in the other personalized categories

after the installation of the version 4.8, all the products that I have installed after the version 4.5, have returned in the category "unassigned"
as I can do for recovering all the personalized categories and to restore the contenuticomes in the version 4.5?

I hope that have understood! I speak little English

Thank you

When older categories are working but some items you categorized recently aren't showing up, the database is probably corrupt  You are probably using the older Valentina-based CMS instead of the newer PostgreSQL-based CMS.

    1) If you haven't exported user data recently, do that first, so you can restore the categories that are still working.  It may take a while, as much as half an hour if you have a lot of categorized content.  When it is done, exit from DAZ Studio.
    2) Install "PostgreSQL CMS" using DAZ Install Manager or your Product Library.  You only need to install one version -- for example, if you install 64-bit you don't need to install 32-bit, and if you install the Public Beta version you don't need to install the General Release version also.
    3) You do not need to install "Valentina to PostgreSQL Conversion".
    4) Launch DAZ Studio and make sure your Content Library pane has 5 top-level headings:  DAZ Studio Formats, Poser Formats, Other Formats, Products, and Categories.  If the last two are missing, then we will need to check if CMS is being blocked.
    5) Re-Import metadata.  This will also take a while, but should be much quicker than exporting user data, as PostgreSQL CMS is much faster, especially if you have 64-bit.
    6) Scan for new content.  You will probably still have items in Unassigned.  Categorize them.
    7) Close and restart DS, and see if the categorized items are staying.  If they are, you should be good to go.

I think you are in Italy -- if that is your preferred language, there are some people who speak Italian, if my instructions aren't clear.
