What Specs are minimum for a laptop?

Hi fellow artists...

I'm getting back into 3d modeling after some years away doing other stuff and am working with a godawful chromebook that needs replacing. I'm crunched for money, but I desperately need a new laptop to get going on artwork, so I'm wondering if anyone can explain kinda simply and clearly what minimum specs are needed to create 3d models on a laptop...

I would greatly appreciate anyone's time and thoughts.

Daz Studio is not a 3D modeler. If your goal is to "create 3d models on a laptop", you need different software, and the minimum requirements would depend on what software you choose. Blender is free. If you are crunched for money, take a look at it and see what it lists for requirements.
