Tiling texture orientation question

I'm trying to adjust the tiling orientation of a seamless texture in Surface editor. In Poser I can change the angle, I can't figure out how to do that in DS. I'm probably missing something simple but need a hand.
If the answer is "your going to have to make a copy of the texture and rotate it and then reference that texture..." that's okay I guess. I'm hoping there is something easier in the surface editor.
Thanks!

To my knowledge you can't rotate the texture at a specific angle.
But instead of rotating the texture you can consider to rotate the UV layout,
Do you mean open the obj file and rotate the uv map for the surface I want?
click the map on the Surface you want to rotate.
Select "layered Image Editor"
on the left right side click the rotate dropdown menu.
as noted already, this is a quick and dirty, won't fix UV's or anything else, just the map/texture
Yes.
You can load it as a new UV map in Daz Studio.
IceCrMn, that is exactly what I was looking for, thank you for your help!
Case closed :-)
You can, in principle, set up a custom shader to adjust the texture coordinates. I've done it in Shader Mixer for 3Delight, but not for Iray.
V3Digitimes has two products that will rotate textures for Iray Uber Shader surfaces:
Shader Rotator rotates in 90 degree increments.
Xtreme Reshade rotates any angle, and can do much much more than just rotate.
