Hi, just a heads up that the top bar on the Daz site no longer works properly on ipad.
Eg you can sign in but once you have you cannot access the forums. The little bar icon top left no longer works.
thanks if ir can be fixed.
AFAIK Using the second latest version of the Ipad software

Works for me on my iPad!
Thanks for the feed back.
I can sign in but not access the forum after wards.
Might be the ios?
I tried in safari and chrome.
cheers from here
Everything works fine on my iPad running latest OS and Safari.
thanks ;)
Same here. 2019 iPad Pro, running up to date iOS on Safari. Working fine. Same with Chrome.
Thanks for checking Cris.
Hopefully updating the ios will help.
cheers from Oz
besides not being able to upload pictures to this forum on Safari (I can with Firefox) I have no problems with my iPad
thanks Wendy, maybe I need to wind my ipad up a bit more
The website does appear to be buggy from time to time on my iPhone as well (latest iOS installed, using Safari). The links to products seem to be interpreted as entry boxes.
Reloading the page usually helps. But this problem was not present one or two months ago.
I am replying using my IPad.
I have been having a lot of trouble accessing the forums recently, but that has been equally true on my IPad and my computer.
Workingish on my 6th generation (2018?) iPad, with probably the latest update (it's set to update automatically, but it never does)...
By the "bar", I'm assuming you mean the Blue or Black stripe with the options on it for the various site feature like Shop, Forums or Llama Camp?
A while ago, there was a problem with (I don't know what the technical term is exactly) the "activation field" around the options (like an invisible button, so when you click or tap on a choice, it's the area that's "sensitive" to that action and should only activate when you click on the immediate area of the word/choice, like a link) that area was messed up and overlapping other choices and some were skewed to on side severely.
I don't see that happening now, but try poking about a bit and see if the buttons are messed up in whichever browser you are using... I've found that the forum software absolutely hates Safari by the way... Chrome way less, but Firefox seems to work the best for me(but I'm Safari right now)... at the moment, it's the only one that doesn't entirely flake out when I upload images... for at least three or more years it's been impossible to upload images using Safari in any and all iOS on iPad.
portrait mode is best for forum, landscape for store as bits get hidden otherwise
Just testing uploading an image from my iPad...
... and it doesn't. Huh! Never knew that, thanks.
Try Firefox or Chrome... I usually use Firefox.
I use the Brave browser without problems on my iPad but haven't tried uploading an image though.
using it now... all good. In landscape.
how much does DAZ pay to use Cloudflare?
it's obviously too much for what they are getting
thanks for all the replies I'll try on Brave browser.
My Ipad is an Ipad air - uisng older IOS, I can't update.
On the top bar on the daz site the only thing that works for me is the "Shop" bit ;)
I've always found daz3d to be half-baked on portable ios devices. It mostly works, but not smoothly. Have fun trying to enlarge product images without issues.
Physically turn the iPad to the horizontal position. The appearance of the top bar should change to include more options. Alternately, you can save the DAZ forums as a bookmark and access them that way on the iPad.
I'm kind of surprised none of the 3D centric websites I visit are that mobile-friendly. I get that DAZ itself requires a PC, but we do browse/shop on mobile as well (well, I do).
I'm writing this on my iPad. It's a 9th gen with latest iOS.
I'm still using a first-gen iPad Pro daily without any issues, including zooming in and enlarging pictures. The only thing I'm not able to do is post pictures here from it (which I only found out because of this thread, as I'd never tried before).
