Any Model Conversion Artists around? Convert model to Genesis

I have some models I want transferred over to Genesis 8 figures.  Any idea on how it is done.  I know a few folks here do some crazy conversions like turn Genesis 8 figure into a hedgehog.  How would I do tthat with say a JoJo 3d model?

Anyone here take commissions

Which JoJo? Also, if you're referring to JoeQuick's hedgehog, I highly doubt that was a conversion, but rather that Joe sculpted that off of the G8 mesh. In any event, it's possible to shrinkwrap G8's mesh around the model you want to import using a modeling program. How well that works will depend on your own familiarity with the process and how similar the figure you're trying to fit is to the figure you're trying to adapt.

  • they use a program called Wrap3D made by Russian Software and Blender

    it's quite expensive too

I never looked into it but have seen lots of YouTube tutorials on it

I know some that do it and they have so many orders in quue they can't accept more work.  Might be a good money making idea.

Probably not since many of these conversions break the EULA or copyright in some way (derivitive works, using existing textures, meshes, etc). There is a reason they sell on patreon or DA and not in a store.

To be honest, you're better off learning how to do conversions yourself. Some of the prices that people are charging are pretty eye-watering (and rather mickey-taking).

Wrap 3 is expensive, but it is worth the money. The only thing is, I got my copy through the Black Friday sale last year... So you may have to wait for the price to come down ^^'
