How to apply skin surfaces to other objects?

How can I copy the surface settings from the skin of my character and apply them to an object like the ball joints from Ball Joint Doll for Genesis 2 Female(s)?

I created a texture map to match the skin of the character I'm using now I just need to match the settings (velvet, specularity, bump, displacement, etc.) a lot of those fields aren't even available for the ball joint so I can't simply copy & paste a selected surface.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

If you don't see the same properties on the balls it probably means the shader used is not the same. My guess would be that the character uses UberSurface (or maybe AoA shaders) and the ball joints only have the default shader applied.

So you'd need to apply the base UberSurface shader to the balls first, then you'll have all the properties in the surfaces tab.

You could also select a surface on the figure, File>Save as>Shader preset, then select the prop and its surface and apply the Shader preset (File>Merge or from a content pane).

@Leana - Thank you this was the ticket - ubersurface added all the fields I was missing & now I know where to get it!

@Richard Haseltine - Thanks so much - this is the shortcut I was going for I just kept getting hung up on trying to copy & paste the settings. It will be much easier in the future!

@Kerya - Thank you for replying but unfortunately it looks like the drop box links in the post aren't active anymore.
