Aux Viewport stops rendering Iray

Randomly the Aux Viewport stops rendering Iray, all I see is the progress bar at the bottom but it does nothing, neither the CPU nor the GPU is doing anything.

The main viewport is not affected, it can still render Iray but the aux seems to be broken. Every other drawstyle does work in the Aux, but not Iray.

Even after closing the Aux Viewport the progress bar continues to show some progress which is not happening.

Closing the Aux Viewport does not seem to help, and I have to close Studio alltogether to fix it.

Is there some fix or workaround?

Edit: Apparently the same problem can happen with the main viewport, at some point Iray turns off and nothing can turn it back on. All other drawstyles still work but iray is broken.
