Timeline weirdness

Hey folks,

Novice user, and I've experienced some wierd behavior.  While following along with ItRoy's Video on using the Timeline to speed up Dforce by animating from one pose to another, when I clicked to the 30 second mark to set my next pose, the enitre Dance Studio Envrionment moved to the center of the world.  It only moved backed when I hit the undo button and returned the timeline to zero.  I made sure that only the character was currently selected, and nothing else.  I even hid the scene, and of course the animation went off without a hitch, but turning the environment back on just shot it right back to the center of the world.

I tested this with the Grand Ballroom, and that stayed put.  The Dance Studio, however, did not.

Ideas?

  • That most likely means that the Dance studio already had some keys set, when you move the timeline everything adjusts (you are setting the time in the scene, so everything goes to its position at that time). If you select the parts of the set at frame 0 then you should see the keys marked in the Timeline next to its/their name, you can marquee seelct all but the first and right-click to remove them.

  • Thanks
