My Library broke.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hiya all.

 

Been learning daz over the last few weeks, And i have come up with some really nice renders so far but last night after installing some things "My Library" Stopped working, Smart library still works fine but to find anythign else in my library, I have to search by name. It doesnt show teh folder list or icons or anything, Unless i search for an item by name. I dont know what i did or how i did it, But please, Help me get my library back to nromal so i can load gen 2 propers for my gen 3 normaly again >_<

    You may have some sections closed in the Content Library pane.  On the horizontal dividers between the sections there is a wider section in the midde that you use to open or close the sections.

    If that doesn't solve it, please post a screenshot of what you're seeing.

    Got my database to show up you were correct, one of those little tabs got pressed, But now, It has a weird browsing design! I clicked change view to database and file structure and its the same with the File tree at the top and liiiittle tiny icons for my stuff at the bottom, Can i change this tiny layout somehow?

    And as a Side note, I downloaded some Pose files from Renderosity, Made sure they were for DAZ but they dont show up in my Library, I added them to my documents / Daz 3d / Studio / My Library, Made sure th runtimes went to runtimes, texturest o textures ect but they stiill dont show up.

    Are you looking in Poser Formats > My Library > Pose for these files?

    You can drag the bar between the folder list and the file list up to change their relative sizes - when the mouse is in the right place it wil chaneg to a double arrow.

    On the bar that says 1-4 of 4, at the right-hand end, there are two buttons controlling the way items show - click the left hand one, with four squares, to get the icon view instead of the list view.

    Yeah, figured it out Even tho they are for Gen 2 and V4 respectively they were Poser files, didnt realize this. Thanks and ill figure the view thingy, Thanks for the info will post back should all work well ^^
