Hey guys,
Got a question I hope you can help me out with. I just started using Daz studio 4.8 today and when I render a Genesis 2 model or Victoria 4.2 model using Uber Enviroment 2, I get a really bad noise effect on my model. I've tried increasing the pixel samples, lowering shadow samples and editing the shading rating with no luck. It gets worse on the model if I zoom out away from her. If I use another light I don't have the noise so what is causing this in the Uber Enviroment 2 and how do I fix it please?
Thanks!!
- Shannon

Oops, sorry guys I think I figured it out playing around with it duh lol Thanks anyways :)
Use the quality presets for UberEnv...the adjustments you made are making things worse.
Shadow samples need to be HIGHER to improve shadows, lower makes them more pixelated.
Unless you are doing depth of filed or motion blur, raising pixel samples above about 8 just adds a lot more time to the render.
