How to restore pose / zero pose but on the spot?

Normally it always return to the center of the world. I need it to stay on the spot.

And how to put our character back to the origin of the... what do you call it... the center of the movement widget?

It's the same technique I use in the video below .... hold down CTRL (on the PC) or CMD (Mac) when clicking on any pose ... so use it when clicking on a "zero pose" and it will only change the pose and keep everything else in place .. 

There's a menu option of Edit > Figure > Zero > Zero Figure Pose .. but not only is it slower - most of the time it resets the model position to world zero ..
