'The Court Jester' is a bit of a classic.

She was such a lovely actress.  I have fond memories of watching Murder, She Wrote with my grandparents when I was younger.  My father and I were watching Samson and Delilah a while back and it took us a bit to realize Semadar was being played by her.  Another great lost.  RIP.  crying

IMHO, among the most elite performers of all time.  She could do anything, and did.

    - Slapstick comedy with Danny Kaye in Court Jester

    - Biblical epic eye candy with Heddy Lamar in Samson and Delilah

    - Harsh drama antoginist with Frank Sinatra in Manchurian Candidate

    - Classic horror ingenue with George Sanders in Picture of Dorian Gray

    - Light Disney musical in Bedknobs and Broomsticks

    - The 'other woman' with Judy Garland in The Harvey Girls

    - Weekly TV mystery with every actor over 50 in Murder She Wrote

    - Many broadway plays of every type

RIP, great lady.  Thanks for the amazing assortment of entertainment.

Sorry. She was quite good in Murder, She Wrote.

  • My all-time favorite was her narrative background for a movie which was a version of Little Red Riding Hood... that's at least my very foggy memory of it.

I'd look it up but I have to leave soon for a few appointments.

The movie had a cool take on the young girl and what she was going through upon reaching puberty. The whole movie was very metaphorical...

Or maybe I just had a bit too much wine when I watched it ;-)

She was also quite the decent human being. Such class. She was quite active in numerous charities.
