Tighter fitting clothes.

Hello,

Some of the clothing I have, while fits the model, it doesn't have a tight fit as I'd like. I have no issue with pokethrough or anything like that, it's the opposite. For example a piece of the clothing would just hover a little too far from the model. From a distence it looks alright but close up you can it's not tight fitting.

I have one such item, some underwear and it's not as tight of a fit as I think it should be in some areas. It has sliders to change it's shape, but they all seem to change it in ways I'm not wanting. Or I'll move one slider to make a fit, but another to fix another area undoes it and so on. I know of Hexagon I could probably go and do something there, but is there anything good for Daz itself to try out? I did take a look at Mesh Grabber to pull in the clothing a little bit but can't seem to get that right.

So, what are some ways to get clothing to fit tighter?

*Edit*

I got it now. I think I added smooth shading and now it seems to snap when I mess with the sliders.

You could use a push modifier (with a negative value to make the clothing tighter) along with a corresponding push modifier weight node (paint where you want it to take effect).

You could create your own custom morphs.  Just export the clothing item as an OBJ and then import it into a 3D modeling software like Blender and then make your modifications and then create a morph out of the modified OBJ using the Morph Loader Pro in DAZ Studio.  Then just dial the morph until the fits is perfect.  I do this a lot with clothing for the Genesis 8 Female figures that I import into Unreal Engine.  Here I have a G8F character whose pantyhose mesh kept poking through the dress.  I fixed the poke through by making custom morph for the dress.
