Awesome actor Robbie Coltrane best known for his character Hagrid from Harry Potter, and Zukovsky from James Bond, passed away aged 72.

    Why, 2022?  Just. . .why? crying  He played Hagrid so well.  Probably my favorite actor from the movies.  I absolutely adored him.

    I have yet to watch or read any of the Harry Potter series although I bought them long ago. I am looking forward to finally watching them.

    My favourite Coltrane role was Cracker - on UK TV in the late 90s (and still on some streaming services). Great acting and well written scripts. I saw the US adaption but it didn't come close - due, I think, to the way Coltrane made the role his own. I do remember him starting out on a comedy sketch show and, again, he was just a natural comic. He was just a year older than me - very sad.
