    It's "MID" October, so it's not Q1 and its not Q4 but it might be half way either side of the middle, which means October 14.75+/-3.5; some time between October 11.25 and October 18.25; still 2.5 days to go, given that Software Is Always Late, but Sales Are Contracts.  So, unlike normal software, where it is promised yesterday and delivered next year, because we paid for it there is a contractual obligation to deliver it in the specified time frame; 2.5 days to go!

    I don't think there is a definition on "mid".

    So in my view "mid October" could be the 20th or maybe even later.

    But my guess is Genesis 9 is released tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday.

    Just be relieved there was no Daz soon in the release date.

    I would consider mid-october to be the 11th to the 20th inclusive, but others may have their own interpretation
