This expansion pack provides expressions for Wolf 2,  which opens the mouth jaw.  https://www.daz3d.com/da-wolf-2-expansion-set

  • I redownloaded the zip files and see that there is a dsf file for open mouth (among others) that should be in content/dat/Alessandro mastronardi/wolff 2.0 by AM/wolf/morphs/Alessandro mastronardi/base. that was there I tried unzipping to the correct place (as far as im aware ) and replacing all the files that it said were already in the destination and still it dosnt work

This is a long shot, but maybe try to install the files into Wolf 2's Smart Content folder. You can access it by right clicking the product image and then pressing "Browse to Folder Location." Unzip the files there and allow it to replace all of them.

The open mouth slider is in the Parameters pane under Actor/ Head / Mouth.

Your Parameters should look like the attached. (Breeds is from another package)

Starting to sound like it's not installed right.

What does your Content Directory Manager look like (expand the folders like in the sample)

Attached also instructions for manual installation

What did you think was the correct place? The Content folder in the path you quote is just a placeholder for your actual content directory (e.g. My Daz 3d Library), it should not be an actual folder between the content directory and the data folder.

What Richard means is that your file structure should be something like this:

    C:/MYFOLDERNAME/data/Alessandro....

    not

    C:/MYFOLDERNAME/content/data/Alessandro

It should look something like this in your file path:

Hi, look in the Parameters pane, under Actor. There you should find the open mouth slider.

  • a while back i was running out of space on my c drive and added another hard drive ( i already had several )That became drive J my original DAZ stuff was in C DAZ  3d D my library, so i moved everything over to the new drive and all my DAZ stuff went in J my library.the folder in my library is content inside that are all the other folders such as animals, people , Data, runtime etc.. All my stuff ive installed manually from the zip files ( a lot of stuff i have was only available in zip files from other sites such as renderosity and hivewire).so Id download the zip file to my download folder on my c drive right click unzip here that would extract the zipfiles there would be a folder called content with a manifest and supplement in the content would be something like 3 folders Data, runtime , and Animals .moving everything from the extracted content to inside the conent on j my library put everything in the right places at least they seem to work. I dont understand how anything can be in the wrong place  as all ive done is manually put them where winzip would have put them if I had just used winzip to extract to J my libarary that would still create exactly the same file structure.. And if anyone is wondering why I do them manually the following is an example of why Today after an update to DIM one of the downloads available it said was AM warthog which is odd because its already there in DAZ studio so just to try things I told DIM to install to a folder I called DAZ stuff installed by DIM , also added gen 3 male gen 3 female gen 8 male and gen 8 female DIM claimed they were installed and indeed gen 3 male gen 3 female gen 8 male and gen 8 female all show up (twice now as they are in their original places as well) but the warthog ? no where to be seen except in its orignal place

  • if i unzip the files for the wolf 2 i get 3 items in the first folder they are manifest ,suppliment and a folder called content. inside the content are 3 folders called data ,runtime and animals. inside the data is folder called alessandro mastronardi and inside that one called wolf2.0 by AM inside that one called wolf in that are 3 items  wolf dson support file afolder called morphs and a folder called  uv sets inside morphs anothe folder called alessandro mastronardi and inside that another called base and finally in side that all the morph files . so is it the data folder thats in the wrong place? and if so on my system where DAZ content is at J my library where should it be?

  • my parameter pane does not have actor when the wolf is selected

  • ive fixed it now waht i did was everything that was ins side the content folder was just dragged into the folder DIM had created in the folder i had called DAZ stuff installed by DIM and from that location it works still dont understand why it works that way nor where the claimed install of the warthog went when DIM did it , but many thanks to all of those who offered advice and help very much appreciated

Have you added the new directory you created for you manually installed stuff/old stuff under Edit --> Preferences --> content --> Content Directory manager?

    Just trying to make sure.

EDIT: I just saw the image. You have to add the directory you're installing stuff in to both, Poser and DAZ Studio. Otherwise, some parts might not be found.
