G8F's face displayed differently in viewport
I created a G8F character a year or so ago, based on a product which came with a choice of Iray makeup styles coded as DUF files. I tried every style and picked one (left). Last week I switched to another of the product's styles, and G8F's face changed unexpectedly in the viewport (right). As far as I can tell, rendering is unaffected - if there is a change, I cannot detect it. However, I'd like to have the viewport to display the face in the same way as it did originally. The rest of the figure is unaffected.
I haven't knowingly changed anything, and I've installed all Daz Studio updates. Also, as I don't understand what has happened, I don't know which keywords to use to search for possible solutions. I would be grateful for suggestions.

Did you accidently change the viewport draw style? Perhaps with a short cut key? In the upper right corner of the viewport is a dropdown box to select a draw style. Try selecting some different ones and see if you get back to what you expect. Or perhaps you hit the Ctrl-L key combination to toggle the on or off the "preview lights" command. Or perhaps the new material you applied has a lighter skin makeup color. Or perhaps you accidently applied a 3Delight material preset when you previously had an Iray preset, or vice versa.
Try the menu option : WIndows > Preview Lights ... if the light is highlighted, click the option and turn it off ..
Thanks for the suggestions. My memory is that I've always used Iray but it's conceivable I used 3Delight when I started with Daz Studio, e.g., when setting up the product I used as a base figure. I'll try reinstalling it.
How the render settings are stored has changed recently. If your "Render Settings/Environment" in the original scene used "Dome" illumination but that the actual Dome set to "None" there's now a bug which will add Ruins back in as the Dome when you load the scene. If that happened just set the Dome back to None; that will replace the Dome lighting with Sun-Sky. The reason people do this (rather than just using Sun-Sky) is to get an alpha==0 background.
Another recent change if that really is an Iray preview (it kinda looks more like PBR to me) is exactly how tone mapping affects the rendering. I haven't tested what this does with the preview but given your two screen shots you could just try nudging the Tone Mapping EV up one or two.
That said, to me the left hand image looks like a Texture Mapped preview and the right hand image looks like PBR. I can't imagine an Iray preview looking like the RHS, the lighting is just too harsh. Try flipping through the Viewport render modes:
To me, it looks like the face material has been changed to PBR Metallicity/Roughness in surface parameters. Some characters have that, and that is how they look in preview.
