(She's actually been in my install manager since this mornin', but I didn't want to say anything lest I incur the wrath of the mods again)

Gonna get some renders done as soon as gen9 essentials are actually downloadable, but wanted to make the thread right away~ 

Unfortuantely the bundle is... well, if I'd had known what was in it before purchasing, I would've just gone with Vic herself (but that's on me for buying something I couldn't see). (The two itesm you're meant to get with her aren't available yet either, but hopefully that'll just work itself out soon)

    Nothing available for me yet .... no "download link" in my product library and nothing in DIM ..

    Yes!!! Also waiting for Essentials to be downloadable. I purchased just the figure with the Voss redux hair which still isn't listed for me as a free item.

    Also, it's been out for just 20 minutes, so... I'll be patient. Make up and expressions look really cool - although would have been great to have the make up included in the figure - so I guess that's my next movement.

    But also makes me wonder if we'll have to buy all Gen9 originals with this method, because it really hurts my wallet, and also because it makes the smart content... less smart?

    I've now got Gen 9 Starter available, downloaded and installed .. but still nothing for Vicki 9

    Although some improvements were made to the hands and feet, these are clearly and disappointingly the neglected body parts of this new Vic version in terms of attention to proportions and realism.

    A quick render just trying out different poses. I didn't like the pixie hair that comes with her but that could be I'm doing something wrong as I'm not used to strand hair.

    IIRC I swapped it with Lori for gen8f and it loaded fine.

    I was hyped when I saw the banners today, but currently, neither Vicky nor any of the pre-order bonuses showed up in my DIM. :( What just happened?

    Well I was dead set against buying into G9 but then I saw the promo for the makeup product https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-9-hd-makeup  
     

    I'm on an iPad and I zoomed in as close as possible on the eyes and lips and it really looks as realistic as a magazine ad! The main thing about previous generations was the lack of realism in the eyes, eyelashes, and the way some lipsticks had a sharp line and looked fake. There's no way I can invest a lot into G9 but I might end up getting the V9 bundle after all & the morphs/expressions when they come out. I'm sure a PA or maybe DAZ itself will come up with a clone for clothes. In the past I've done mostly non-realistic heavily postworked art anyway, but lately I've been getting into realism and G9 so far does seem more realistic. Most of the promos for DAZ Original core G8.1 characters look awful with that PBR plaster looking skin but the renders I've seen so far V9 and the makeup product skin look amazing! I'm wondering why they couldn't have had similar texturing on G8.1? Have they changed something in the PBR texturing?

    I know I said I don't do bikini shots, but... there 'aint a whole lotta gen 9 stuff out there right now >-<

    I preorded, about... a week ago I think? So people that pre-ordered before me seem to be having more issues than I am getting everything downloaded, but I'm still missing the makeup product that people who preordered *after* me do have. So it's a bit of a dazzy mess, heh. I'm sure it'll be worked out soon

    The forum constrains only horizontal to 800 pixels. Link size to be proportional and manually change to 800 on h.

    Yeah...I pre-ordered the day it was announced and nuffin...  Same thing happened to me with the mystery bag, and I was the last one to get my account fixed last weekend. :/
