Support sent me a message saying that their QA team can't reproduce with 526.86.
Still does not work for me. Is there perhaps a way to reset the kernels and have dForece re-prep the kernels for the graphics card? Perhaps that might help? Wouldn't expect ti given the error messatge, but perhaps worth a try?

why would they say it's an open issue in 526.86 and also say they can't replicate it?
[Daz Studio] Application crashes after updating to latest driver when trying to run simulation [3838022]
No, 4090 users cannot use dForce (on their GPUs) at the moment. The drivers (both game ready and Studio) with the fix are slated for release in the middle of next week.
If you have the intel opencl runtime installed, you can select it (OpenCL Device) from the Advanced tab in Simulation Settings. That could be a temporary workaround for those that have 40 series GPUs, etc.

For some reason I got it into my head that wouldn't work for me, since I have an AMD processor. Several reports on the web suggest AMD dropped OpenCL support in Windows. But whaddya know...
Installing the Intel OpenCL runtimes totally lets me simulate dForce with my Threadripper. It's not at all slow, and even bypasses NUMA node limitations that Daz itself has. Thanks, this made my day!
today i downloaded and installed Nvidia "526.86" version drivers,
same result, Dforce error,,
"
Version:
526.86 WHQL
Date de réalisation:
2022.11.10
i think the problem comes from OpenCL DLLs
.
2.5.3 NVIDIA OpenCL Compiler Upgrade The NVIDIA OpenCL driver used an older OpenCL Just-In-Time (JIT) compiler based on the legacy 3.4 versions of the Clang front-end and NVVM optimizer. NVIDIA has been working on upgrading its OpenCL JIT compiler to use a newer version 7.0 of the Clang front-end and NVVM optimizer component. NVIDIA introduced this new OpenCL compiler as an opt-in feature in 510 driver release (511.09 on Windows and 510.54 on linux), with the default OpenCL compiler remaining the same. With 522.30, NVIDIA OpenCL will use the new Clang + NVVM 7.0 based compiler as the default compiler, replacing the old compiler. As part of this driver install, a new compiler library should be visible in the system folder as libnvidia-nvvm.so/nvvm*.dll instead of the old libnvidiacompiler.so*/nvcompiler*.dll. The driver will pick up the newer compiler library by default.

The drivers with the fix are not yet available - they are expected tomorrow according to the sticky post on Iray.
Someone has a solution to make the simulation work in Daz with a GeForce 4090 knowing that the last Nvidia drivers are a problem with Daz and knowing that we are obliged to have the last drivers to take advantage of the 4090... ?

There should be a new driver tomorrow, see https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/595931/daz-studio-4-21-0-x-pro-general-release/p1#known_issues
GeForce Game Ready Driver Version:526.86. Still not working with dforce.
Yeah, unfortunately it is still listed as an "open issue" in the release notes. Guess we'll have to hope for the Studio Drivers when they release.

I'm getting an error. D-Force doesn't work for me either.

Official Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA search for your card download using custom install. Check the box for a fresh install of the driver. 517.x and below.
For 40 series that option is not available.

I see that Studio Driver 526.98 is available. Any courageous people tried it yet?
Released today. Just tried it with a dress and hair, no issues.
Just tried it. Worked with a long sleeve dress and hair without issues.
Hello to all,

Thanks

Edit: I see the referenced thread was merged into this one, so my link is now dead.
I can confirm dforce is working again with todays drivers on my RTX 4090.
ohhh LOL Exellent !
Sorry, I checked a few hours ago, there was nothing...
yes It works!
It works!
Now my women aren't stuck with pants!
Can confirm this appears to have fixed problems with the previous version (both studio and game ready had broken dforce for me)
Consolidated the new driver threads.
Which killed the link from one thread to the other, by the way.
to avoid an endless loop
like handing someone a card with PTO on both sides
if merged that thread no longer exists so one would end up in the DAZ Backrooms
yellow walls, flickering fluorescent lights and the Creeper chasing you
one can't have that
With the latest nVidia Studio Driver update 526.98, dForce in Daz Studio Pro is working again.
Has anyone tried the 526.98 Studio Driver that was released yesterday?
I am.
Installed it this morning.
RTX 3060 with Studio Driver 526.98.
dforce works, and I've not experienced any issues so far.
I stayed on 517.40 while nVidia got this sorted so I did a "clean install" during the 526.98 install.
