Serial numbers disappear and other weird happenings

After upgrading DAZ 4.21.  My DAZ serial number disappered.  So did my Face Transfer license.  I reloaded from DAZ, all good.  Now the really strange thing.

I saved a pose from a different scene and applied the pose to the current scene, G8F to G8F.  When I did that:

1.  Hair color changed -- went to unsimulated state, too.

2.  Removed third party products from the figure--readding did not fix the issue.

3.  All instances of using the character the pose was applied to--in different scenes, subsets, etc., now exhibit 1 and 2,- above--even from backups!

Is there a way to clear whatever happened to the character--it is a Genesis 8 female generated with Face Transfer? 

It appears the third party products while there, no longer work.  They all worked until I applied the pose!

This happened suddenly!  That affects the same character in different scenes is very odd!  I've saved multiple poses and not had this happen before.

I found a workaround for the pose issue... all used third party products needed to be applied to the source of the saved pose preset. Once I applied all the third party presets, it fixed the issue.  What I don't understand is this:  How can this affect the same character in different scenes?

Still there... work around worked until I saved the posed figure and tried to load it into a scene. 

How do I get rid of the properties which seemed to transfer from the pose preset to the character I posed?

It's not fixed but saving the original image with the third party products seems to work.
