How Do I Get the v9 Face in the Makeup Promo?

Just bought V9 and the makeup kit.  How do I get the face pictured in the makeup promo?

Did you buy the bundle or just V9?

  • I bought V9, her Expressions and Makeup, but not the bundle.

I'm asking about the morphs used to create the face in the promo.  This is V9 untouched, and she looks nothing like the face above:

There are no extra head and body morphs for G9 yet, so us grunts will have to wait. The only options you have at the moment, is to dial down V9 so that you have a blend between G9 and V9 and that's about it for now.

So, DAZ likely created a V9 character morph for the makeup promo and we'll have to wait and see if they release a figure based on that morph.  Looks like I'll be keeping my fingers crossed...

Thanks for asking this question. I thought V9 looked a bit manly in that promo. Try mixing the G9 feminine/masculine dials at a 70/70 split or so.

One thing you could change is the focal length of the camera. It looks like your camera is too close and the focal length is too small. That causes facial distortion like a large prominent nose. Experiment with moving the camera further away and zoom in with a longer focal length.

This right here. A good focal length for portraits is anything between 80 and 120.

  • Did you apply the base feminie head in the shaping setting?
