G9 is a MASSIVE improvement

I've been playing with it a bit now. Here are my observations so far:
1. The textures are great, and with good lighting the models look amazingly realistic.
2. The posing and corrective morphs are way better than G8.
3. Hair from G8 seems to fit better on custom morphs on a G9 than a G8.

Thread moved since it's not Daz Studio related.
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
but...
G9 looks like a face model only.
Her/His torso and limbs mesh topolgy is made of strikt quads, that don't follow natural muscles with edge loops. Muscles in neck or abdomen are hard to morph, unless you are a PA and have access to HD tools.
This makes it also hard to export G9 to other apps.
Overall I am really not happy about G9.
I have been very optimistic and supportiv about G9 and now I am mostly disappointed.
G9 needs a lot of fixing geografts, that will turn her/him into a data monster.
Oh, and I really hate that unimesh thingy.
I am happy because it will make it easier to make morphs and the artists that do morphs create their subD levels and introduce the needed polygons to make accurate characters in any event.
Don't get that... Why is it easier to make morphs?
Because they were given more base level 0 polygons to start work with compared to past Genesis models which many had been asking for for years now. And how that relates to what I said? Because the PAs have the HD tools and can use those to go to higher subD levels to create their morphs and that means they have to do less to than previous generations to get the same results because the number of polygons they start at at base 0 is higher. Remember higher subD levels + more polygons.
