This looks like something Tim Burton would be proud to call his own.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

Since I left home after university, I have always lived in Victorian houses. So, stylistically it's right down my street, so to speak. Looking forward to seeing the results. Regards, Richard.

I assume PASS is basically Daz approvals and QA? So are we looking at a week or two? Do you have any thoughts on price so I can budget for it since this is definitely going into my cart?

  • I've nerver been fortunate enough to live in a Victorian house. However, whenever I see a cool one, I always think 'it must be haunted'.

I don't think DAZ likes us to give prices before it's live, otherwise I would. It's done now, sitting in my products, just waiting on a date. :)

Fair enough, to you have any guess as to when it might come out? I'm really anxious to get ahold of it if I'm honest, I've been wanting a house like this with a full interior for some time.

  • Oh my gosh, this is awesome! Will it have furniture? Or is it just the structure? Either way, I'm into it!

Come on Daz, let's get this thing rolled out already lol!   Looks Fantastic and can't wait to add it to the cart.  laugh

  • I can't say when, however it is not long now. Sorry no furniture, although I did think about it, perhaps I'll add some in the future.

Riggswolfe, it may have been your post that I read, asking about an interior, that prompted me at the last minute to add the interior. smiley

  • Quite a bit of LaurieS' furniture is suitable for a Victorian house, as there were fads for Roccoco vases and heavy furniture at the same time. Then, too, many Victorian houses have been massively redecorated inside and modern furniture used, so any mish-mash post 1850 could be considered contemporary in most houses. In the UK, it tends to be that the higher the social standing, the greater the proportion of inherited old furniture from different periods thrown together, making for a designer/stylists nightmare.
  • And it's here!!!!

I love having the interior and quite like that it is seperate. I bought it the instant I saw it in the store and do hope you may consider doing some furniture at some point.

  • Ha, so I think I will get a house for Xmas :) It looks wonderful, thanks for all the effort!
Do you think about to make a clean version texture as an addon someday? That would be great for historical renders without spookiness.

  • Looks as impressive as the initial images promised. Regards, Richard.

It's in the store now, looks fantastic! I want to get the bundle actually, but DAZ sort of screwed this up again - because although the bundle contains five items, it doesn't even count as two debut new, and so the discount is smaller. Oh man, why do they always have to do that ... Anyways, it's soooo nice, and the graveyard - which I didn't expect to be into much at all - is especially great, with the environment and the open tomb and all that. Thanks so much, a gorgeous addition to my library!

Yeah. there's quite a bit of Victorian furn in the store already. Of various ages and from vrious vendors. The PC+ collection is a good place to start. And there was some Victorian stuff in the old RDNA collection as well. Most of it for Poser, but materials can be converted.

Speaking of which, Ken Gilliland is updating his Seashore House, and it should be out on Rendo before the end of the year, aong with a new set of vintage appliances.

ETA: Seashore house just appeared in the new products list. The vintage appliances are still in QA.

  • B.E.T.T.Y has a bunch of nice victorian furniture too that would fit perfectly too.
