Couple of refresher questions

Hi,
Been awhile. SO running the newest version of DS. I wanted to know how to turn down the intensity of the hover brightness when I'm hovering over a figure or prop, it's just too much!
Also is there a way to tell DS to look a little deeper for files. I have a few My Libraries and when I load up something from another library into a current scene DS just pops up and tells me it can't find X,YorZ and it's all there but the scene was created from MyLib 01 but the Enviroment was brought in from MyLib 02 or 03.
Thanks so much
Richard

Window>Style>Customise Style and adjust the Highlight colour, if you want to keep the overlay but dimmer. Note that this will affect all highlights throughout the application.
Deeper meaning one is inside another? That is just asking for trouble - either emrge them with the main content directory or make them siblings rather than children, so that each My Library is - with a different name - in the same folder as the main one.
LOL. No, I don't have My Libraries nested inside one another! I'm talking about My Library on Disk H and then another on Disk G or what ever!
So what is happening? Assuming you have both set as content directories and that the paths are correct in the preset the files will load. What is happening, and what do you think Daz Studio should do differently to avoid it?
Correct but it will pop up and tell me files can't be found on occasion. I know this happens in Poser if you set search to Low instead of High. I do remember this being an issue in DS a while back but it's been a while so I'm rusty!
PS. Not finding a color called "Highlight Color"
There are different areas in this dialog so not sure what one to look under!
Base seems to be just for DAZ Studio UI
Then there is Accents, Tips, Hyperlinks, 3D Axis and Viewports.
Show us the folders inside Content Directory Manager, all expanded like in the second attachment
Yes, everything is mapped.
One other question. Is there a way to create a zipped product from within DAZ Studio? That would be a very handy tool to have.
Sorry, Accent Colour is the one you want.
Found it. Used to be a seperate way to do this and you are correct the accent for the entire program is affected. I don't really care for this change. Back in the day you would select something from the Tool drop down (can't remember which tool it was but you would select it and all the controls (color and opacity) would be right there. Now it's this and well quite frankly it's not a good solution in my book!
You can still set Highlight Style to Bounding Box, in the Draw Settings pane.
THANK YOU. That helps perfectly!
Additionally, for those instances when you do want to see selected surfaces such as when using the Surface Selection Tool, you can set the Active Opacity level of the surface highlighting.
Thank you much!
