replace image in gallery ?

In the gallary edit page I find:

  • unpublish
  • ... drop new image here

To not damage something I better ask, if one of those is to replace an already published image?

If you want to update, I believe you would add a new image to the post, then remove the original. (Note that a gallery post can have multiple images associated with it).

Ok, I'll try that, once the new one is ready.

You can also rearrange the order of the images by dragging and dropping once you upload. I do that when I "update" submissions, but I personally like to leave the older one up (as the second or last pics) just to see the improvements.

Oh, that's even better. I thougt that only one image per entry is possible (see deviantart). Good to know.

This should NOT be a feature, actually. I realize there's an artistic urge to upload an 'updated' or 'fixed' version of an image, but that would open the option to swap in a new image.

    - Would not be good for anyone that commented on an image and then the artist replaces it with something different. (maybe something their comment is no longer accurate for).

What I can't understand is how artists have no control over the comments. All that be done- is flagging.
