I get this notification every time I run DAZ Studio. I never use DAZ Connect. How do I get rid of this message?!

"Coniguration of system has changed. To use content installed using DAZ Connect, the content owner must re-authenticate."

The problem was caused because I had changed my username and/or password several months ago. For some reason DAZ Studio did not reflect the change. I finally updated the info, and everything is fine,

Are you logging into DS? If so don't and go into the prefs and turn off a couple settings in regards. Sorry I can't remember the exact settings to turn off and I'm in the middle of setting up my computer and don't have DS installed yet.

Edit: It's somehting like Don't log in and Don't remind I think

This post shows how your "Preferences" should look to avoid logging in when you don't plan to use Daz Connect: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7280231/#Comment_7280231.

I removed all items in the startup tab. I still get the error.

Have you ever (maybe inadvertently) installed something with Daz Connect? Maybe check that your Connect library is completely empty?

MelanieL, I don't recall using DAZ Connect. I've always distrusted it. I found the Connect library. There is one folder called "meta" that has a bunch of files in it. I deleted the files, and still get the error.!

From inside Daz Studio and the Content Library tab, go to Content Directory Manager (from the hamburger menu at the top of the tab) and expand the Connect Library entry to see where it is. By default I think it goes to "My Documents/Daz 3D/Studio/My Daz Connect Data/ " but I'm on my laptop right now so can't check on my DS machine.

Sorry then, I can't think what the problem is. I've never had that happen to me. (I've never used Connect either)

Maybe Richard Haseltine can help. (Though I think he's in the UK like me, and it's after midnight here, so you may not get any response today)
