Scenes created before latest versions crash program

For some reason, all the old files / projects I created before the latest update (Daz Studio 4.21.0.5 Pro) crash the progam when starting a render.
They preview in Iray just fine. But when I hit render the program just quits. Usually no message.
Scenes with identical characters (2 x G8) render fine.
Anyone know what the heck is up please?

Have you tried to look in your log Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File, to see if there are any information that could spread light on the issue?
And is it only old scenes that crashes DS, i.e. you can create a new scene (with similar content) that renders fine?
Yup. It's the weirdest thing. I can pretty much import the same (saved) figures and the scene renders fine.
But when I try to open an older saved scene, it IRAY previews fine but rendering just quits the program with no warning. (I've taken a look at the logs and I see no error just before it quits). But i'm no expert.
I'd blame driver updates but that would affect new scenes too. So it must be a program / compatibility issue. Tried resaving old scene. Same thing, quit on render.
The log says
The newer drivers aren't working with Daz Studio. Download the Studio Driver from Nvidia, 517.40 works.
I'll do that thanks. Not really familiar with the technical side of things.
One thing that does confuse me, is why and how new scenes render fine? Its weird!?
Are the scenes which crash using dForce clothes? The latest nvidia drivers cause crashes with dForce.
Nope. Very simple scenes. Same models loaded individually render fine in a new scene.
Hey Fishtales,
Installed the 517.40 Studio Driver. Same issue happening. ;(
The last line before the crash was loading "3duG8FKennedySocks_NM.tif". There has been broblems with TIF files on later versions of DS
Yes, converting the .tif file to .png and using that instead might be worth a try.
I heard about that. I've saved my scene out as subsets and loaded BG scene, and each character individually. Seems the G8 female is the problem one.
She has some hidden clothes right now, I'm going through and deleting one by one to test which one could be the culprit.
Well. It seems the TIF files were the issue. Weird how they cause problems only in the original scene file.
But I disabled them and the scene renders fine.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to help me out.
Happy Rendering!
