Bottom line: DS 4.7 *64bit* + Genesis + MimicLite?

OK, I know there's a lot of threads here about using Mimic in various versions with different programs and a variety of figures. Unfortunately, when I try to search through these threads, my eyes start to quickly glaze over, as they tend to not be relevant, comprehensive and/or accurate in their info. So, with that in mind, I'll try to be specific about what I'm trying to do; the subject line sums it up, but I'll restate it here:

Is it possible to use MimicLite in conjunction with the 64bit version of DAZ Studio 4.7 to allow for lip-synching with Genesis?

Let me also be pre-emptive a bit in some of the potential answers by summing up where I'm at so far and expressing my understanding of the situation (which might be inaccuarte, of course). I am able to use V4/M4/V3/M3 just fine in Mimic and then import into DS. My understanding is that, theoretically, if I export Genesis into cr2 format, I can use it in Mimic like I do with the other figures. The problem, then, seems to be the lack of a DMC file for Genesis. My research so far has led me to believe that one may in fact exist; but I have yet to find a clear, accurate answer to where I might locate it.

A few other notes that may be relevant: I need to be able to do this in 4.7 NOT 4.8; I'm not ready to deal with the changes in textures and lighting caused by going from 3Delight to Iray. Also, if AT ALL possible, I don't want to have to deal with a second, 32bit, install of DS on a 2nd computer. This seems superfluous and reinforces my frustration with software being released more than a decade into the 21 century that doesn't have AT LEAST a full-function 64bit version. And finally, I'm potentially open to the idea of purchasing MimicLive, IF it's an actually solution.

Anyway, sorry if I'm coming across as petulant, I'm just a bit frustrated with trying to accomplish something that should seemingly be much less complicated than it seems to be. And after trying to research a solution, finding a great deal of convoluted/conflicting info on various forums has left me a bit exasperated. Make no mistake, however, I would be VERY grateful to anyone who can really help me out. And to be perfectly honest, I'd almost welcome the idea of being my own source of frustration because I misunderstood something and latched onto it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

well if you save a geometry file file when creating a cr2 you could as it has a dmc file, it may look odd in preview window, I have used Mimic pro for lipsync in Poser and would be the same.

using lipsync in 32 bit which you can installed also is probably easier though and saving as an animated duf pose selecting/ticking  just the head in optioins.

    1.  There are no changes that Iray brings that aren't undone by a simple switch in the render tab from Iray back to 3Delight.

    2.  You can have both 32 and 64 bit versions of Studio installed at the same time, on the same machine.  In some ways, it's actually very easy...as you usually won't have to configure anything.  Just make sure you install the appropriate plugins in the correct version.
