Dynamic Picture-in-picture within Studio?

Picture this scene. We have a rockband on stage at a concert with a big screen behind them showing eg a headshot of the lead singer chowing down on the mic.

I'ts easy enough to create all of this scene including the general tableau, the lead singer in action, the big screen and the cameras.  What I'd like to know if there is any way to make the "view" seen by the head shot camera display on the bigscreen viewing area from within the render (rather than, say rendering the head shot cam view and then using that as the texture on the big screen viewing area in a subsequent render, or doing a render with a dummy bigscreen viewing area and post-processing the head shot scene onto the big view render.

It seems to me that this is not-unlike (although clearly different to) the pretty-darn-awesome reflections that Studio already handles well through ray tracing (per the sample images), although I do understand it is quite a different technical challenge - effectively a viewport-within-viewport.

Any thoughts, ideas, other suggestions.  Any comment from the developers about the feasibility of such a feature.  It would add an awesome later of creative potential for animated scenes where the post processing approach is a much larger challenge.

Cheers, Lx

I can't imagine it could be done dynamically, but you could render one camera and use Texanim or ABAS to place that animation as a texture on the screen.
